You are unique. Nobody else that ever existed has had your exact DNA and your family, at your time in history, and where you were raised. It all adds to your uniqueness As you grew you absorbed knowledge and experiences much like a sponge from this environment. Like a sponge you took everything in that you experienced and were taught to see. You learned about the world in the way determined by your teachers and you accepted it all without question. As you grew what you learned was absorbed, became part of who you are, largely without any discrimination on your part because you were a child and had no ability to filter. Life was one new experience after another and you did your best to be who you thought you should be.
Now many years later you are an adult who is still learning and living in the world but maybe you feel stuck. Maybe you recognize yourself now as a thinking being who makes their own choices, but want to understand why you make the choices you do. Maybe you have developed a differentiated set of values distinct from what you learned as a child but this isn’t enough. Maybe you recognize that there are things motivating you that are not yet under your conscious control and you want to change this. Maybe you want to know what really motivates you and through understanding this have the ability to change.
What if there was a framework that had been developed that could help you in a couple of hours to uncover one or two of the core subconscious ideas that are driving your behavior? Subconscious Ideas that you picked up during your development but are not consciously aware of? What if these core ideas are shaping who you are and what if they could be pointed out for you to examine and to decide if you want them to have a place in your life?
There is such a framework and it’s called Mentology.
